This is the original 12 track, early version from 1963 when surfing was way cool, helped in part by the driving music on this record!
The Ventures created music that made us feel part of the surfing life, the beat of the surf, the life of living our days on the beach, the thrill when the surf is up, hot and glassy. The music on this LP was way cool then, and it’s way cool now.
This album includes a surfing glossary on the back cover.

The vinyl is overall clean & shiny but with many fine lines and scratches on both sides. Please see photos.
The jacket has cosmetic wear, 2 soft corners, mild ring wear, & some edge wear. There’s tape on the top and bottom attached back in the 60’s to keep dirt out of the seams. The seams are tight and the spine is strong. Please see photos.
For both the jacket and the vinyl, both are in pretty decent condition overall as no serious wear.
