I have been selling off my vinyl collection these past few years and have finally now got down to the ones that I find it hardest to part with. My Man albums. They were the first band I ever saw live, back in 1974 and I saw them numerous times during the 70s.
This is the double LP Greasy Truckers Party, recorded live at The Roundhouse on 13th February 1972. Limited to 20,000 copies upon release.
UK press on United Artists UDX 203/4. Stereo.
It features performances by Man, Hawkwind, and Brinsley Schwarz, plus others.
I did not buy this myself in 1972, but have owned it for over 40 years. It has not been played for over 30 years - but I played it today to grade it.
Vinyl is VG+ Plays well, no jumps. Some surface marks and smudges. There's one or two audible clicks and one click through Andy Dunkley's pre-power-cut speech. It would probably benefit from its first clean in over 50 years.
Unlaminated double gatefold sleeve is VG+. Some ringwear front and back. No splits, writing, tears, or stains. Pretty good corners, only slightly rubbed. There is a piece of white paper pasted on the top inside right - it has been there ever since I owned it - it can be seen in the picture.
Original paper inners with some splits.
