The Way We Grade Records:

Very Fine (Mint): Normally brand new (normally sealed) and never played or no signs of play.

Fine: Used, but no visible scratches, scuffs or marks and plays well.

Very Good (VG): May have minimal light scratches, scuffing and wear, however will not affect playing of record.

Good (G): May have visible light scratches, scuffing wear and minor warps which will not result in record skipping but may result in minor surface noise, crackling and groove wear.

Poor: Record will not play through without skipping, major scratches, scuffing or badly warped. Will only listed if the record is an absolute rarity.

The Way We Grade the Artwork Inlay & Sleeve:

Very Fine (Mint): Absolutely perfect in every way – brand new and possibly sealed (if specified).

Fine: Used, but no visible marking, creases, or writing.

Very Good (VG): Used and may have minor creases, ring wear, previous owner's name in pen, and general wear and a minor tear may be visible.

Good (G): Used with visible writing, use of correction fluid, noticeable wear and creasing, possible moisture damage, possible minor tears (usually repaired).

Poor: Major creases, tears, heavily marred. Will only listed if the record is an absolute rarity.
