Vinyl: VG to VG+ (See grades below - may need light cleaning.)
Sound: Based on APPEARANCE, I expect approximately 20-30% of these records to play with no sound degradation. For those with noise present, it is expected to be brief and non-distracting in nearly all cases.
Label: Generally, VG or better (See grades below. May have jukebox stickers or radio station notes.)
Sleeves: VG or better, but many will NOT match the record.
Inners: N/A
Year: 1950s-70s
Notes:
Grabbed 100 out of the VG boxes (and tossed in another 10-15, in case something doesn't play through).
Tossed in another batch of G+ for you to do with as you please.
Most appear to be 1950s-60s rock/pop.
Generally, VG records retain some gloss, but have too many sleeve scuffs for me to grade higher. NO feelable scratches (unless I missed something).
There is a HIGH likelihood that these records will have minor sound degradation, but should all play through without overpowering noise.
A few duplicates MAY be included.
Pictures are MOST of the records included in the lot.
Titles should be clearly visible if you click on a picture in the listing, then right click and select "Open in new tab" to be able to zoom in even further.
Please wait for invoice if you win multiple lots, so I can calculate precise weight for shipping.
Hoping to have the basement cleaned out by the end of the summer by auctioning bulk lots of records. Be sure to check back often in the next several months to see what else is available!
ShippingDue to fluctuations in shipping prices, I am no longer listing costs here. Bulk lots are always based on actual weight (12 - TWELVE - pounds).
International shipping is based on weight (12 - TWELVE - pounds)
***PLEASE BE AWARE: Import fees and tariffs are NOT included in my prices. These are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and can be significant on higher priced items. I will NOT mark merchandise as "gift" or declare values lower than the purchase price. Thank you for understanding.***
As always, complete satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back!
***INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS, please wait for invoice before submitting payment on multiple purchases.***
Record Grading
VINYL:
NM has all original gloss with NO noticeable marks - the record(s) appear to be both unplayed AND unhandled (clearly, they have been handled, as I inspect each item carefully, but there are literally no traces of marks anywhere that I was able to see).
EX has all original gloss but may have very faint surface imperfections on AT LEAST one side that is/are visible only on close inspection - the type of mark(s) where you see it one time and then can't find it again. Sound is still expected to be flawless, even to the most critical listener.
VG+ has high gloss with MINIMAL surface imperfections on AT LEAST one side. In most cases, sound will be, largely, unaffected.
VG still some gloss but has MODERATE surface imperfections on AT LEAST one side that are visible on first glance and will likely have minimal affect on play. These records are typically only listed if they are more difficult to find in better condition.
SOUND:
I prefer not play grade records, as my impression of the sound quality will, likely, be much different than yours. HOWEVER, if anything you purchase does not meet your standards, simply contact me to arrange a complete refund - including return shipping.
LABEL/COVER/SLEEVE GRADES:
I will do my best to accurately convey any imperfections, but please look over pictures carefully.
NM has no noticeable flaws and is rarely used
EX is a very high grade but may have the most minor imperfection(s) that do not detract from the overall impression of the jacket, such as corners not being perfectly sharp.
VG+ has a flaw(s) on AT LEAST one side that is visible, but is/are not overly distracting (such as light wear or discoloration or CLEAN writing/sticker, corner(s) dinged, minor discoloration, or other minor flaws, up to and including minor splits). Any splits will be specifically noted. Generally speaking, this grade is used for items that show LIGHT wear but no damage.
VG has imperfection(s) that one notices at first glance that begin(s) to distract (such as shelf wear, minor ring wear, a more pronounced split, shelf wear, etc). Generally speaking, this grade is used for items that show moderate wear, but no damage.
G has some sort of distracting imperfection that clearly detracts from the appearance and will be described.
As always, I will happily issue a FULL refund (your choice of either cash or credit toward another item) if you are unhappy for ANY reason and contact me within 30 days of receiving a record. In most cases I will ask that the record be returned.
Assume all records come in plain, white sleeves unless otherwise noted/photographed (this is easiest for listing purposes - I will occasionally surprise a buyer with a company sleeve).
Finally, I do not believe in using reserve prices. I will list opening bids of the minimum I am willing to accept for a record. If it's bid on, it is selling.
