Original very rare 1st Norwegian pressing issue of two Beatles singles, “I Feel Fine” and “She’s a Woman”, released in November, 1964. The design of the picture sleeve was executed by the unknown Norwegian cartoonist whose information is totally absent on the web. Nevertheless, his signature “Helle 64” is located under the drawing. This caricature of the Fab Four turned out to be so popular that this design was repeated on the picture sleeve of the first Norwegian EP (GEOS 225) containing four singles released later on Odeon Records in January, 1965. The original picture sleeve of the currently listed copy made of the raw matte paper contains the Parlophone and EMI logo on the orange half of the sleeve in the upper left-hand corner above the “R 5200” catalog number. The back side of this rare picture sleeve with the flap over borders contains the “10 Topper” chart with the other Parlophone singles. This rarest very 1st pressing copy contains the Parlophone “Made in Norway” old style red labels (the later pressing has the black labels) with the Parlophone logo and R 5200 catalog number. 1st pressing matrix numbers featuring the machine stamped UK purchase tax code “KT” introduced on July 1st, 1963 are as follows: Side 1 (I Feel Fine) – 7XCE 18171-1N KT; Side 2 (She’s a Woman) – 7XCE 18172-1N KT.

The very clean raw matte picture sleeve is in Excellent condition and doesn't have any splits and practically no ring wear that can be very often found on the picture sleeves of this issue. I grade the vinyl visually as Very Good Plus and its playback as Excellent. It has a few very light non-feelable surface hairlines that don't affect the playback in any way. The vivid red Parlophone labels are in outstanding condition, scuff- and wear-free, only having a few very light spindle marks visible under a strong light source. The vinyl sounds great with a punch and dynamic playback.
