On the 20th May will be released the new album "The Heart Is Strange" by xPropaganda, the joint project of the former propaganda members Claudia Brücken and Susanne Freytag.
After the original formation of Propaganda had dissolved in 1987, the individual band members of Propaganda followed various solo projects and musical adventures. In the spring of 2018, Claudia and Susanne reassembled as xPropaganda and played two sold-out headline shows in London. Creatively inspired by this experience, the duo then met with "A Secret Wish" producer Stephen Lipson to write new music.
The results of these sessions, which lasted two years, can be heard on the new xPropaganda album The Heart Is Strange. It is the first release after the relaunch of the ZTT label and revives the style and passion of the propaganda classics while effortlessly sounding contemporary. With his striking beats, which are wonderfully underlined by Claudia's and Susanne's expressive, passionate singing, "Chasing Utopia", "No Ordinary Girl" and "Don't (You Mess with Me)" are among the outstanding pieces.
