Original promotional copy of The Rolling Stones’ 3rd US studio album “The Rolling Stones, Now!” released on February 18, 1965. Even though the release of this album occurred only in the US, the 1st issue vinyl was pressed in the UK on the London Records label for the export to the US. This 1st promotional export pressing was issued only in the Mono format. According to the manufacturer this issue was pressed in limited quantity. The records were placed inside the original white London Records poly-lined “Made in Gt. Britain” inner sleeve with the London FFRR “Ear” logo and shipped to the US where they were put into US made covers. The cover of this promotional copy is in amazing condition as if it has just been made by the printing company. The lower left-hand corner of the front cover contains the “MONO” banner next to the Mono catalog number “LL 3420”. The front cover contains two stickers, an original round “Promotion Copy Not For Sale” sticker affixed to the cover itself underneath the shrink wrap and a single “featuring Heart of Stone and Little Red Rooster” hype sticker affixed to the shrink wrap. Original red “MADE IN ENGLAND BY THE DECCA RECORD CO. LTD'” UK Export deep groove labels with the boxed London FFRR (Full Frequency Range Recording) “Ear” logo with the Mono “LL.3402” catalog number. 1st issue Decca Records plant UK pressing with the very early machine stamped -1K / -1K matrix numbers, 1 / 1 mother stampers and “KT” tax code in the runout grooves. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - XARL-6691-1K H KT 1; Side 2 - XARL-6692-1K H KT 1

The cover remaining in the original factory shrink wrap is in beautiful Near Mint Minus condition only having a pair of staple holes in the upper left-hand corner. We grade the vinyl as Very Good Plus. It retains its beautiful factory gloss but has some light non-feelable surface hairlines and marks along with some light scuffs. The red London labels are very clean and don't have any scuffs or wear, only having a couple of very light spindle marks that could be seen under a strong light source. The original inner sleeve is in Near Mint Minus condition and doesn't have any splits or tears. The vinyl plays amazing with a clear Monaural sound only having some very light occasional static which most likely wold go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
