Original 1st US Verve Records pressing factory sealed copy of The Velvet Underground’s second studio album released on January 30, 1968. 1st print Andy Warhol cover which under a certain angle shows the motorcyclist tattoo of a skull. The tattoo belonged to Joe Spencer who played the lead role of the hustler in a motorcycle gang in Warhol’s 1967 film “Bike Boy”. The image of the tattoo present on the black-on-black cover was selected from one of the film’s negatives by Lou Reed and enlarged. The album remains factory sealed with the fully intact shrink wrap containing two breathe holes on the front cover. 1st print cover variation with the “LEAD GUITAR” credit for Lou Reed as oppose to just “Guitar” and a misprint indicating the “Here She Comes Now” track as “There She Comes Now” on the back. Inside this copy you’ll find the vinyl with the original blue Verve Records T-Shape logo and silver print labels. Amazing factory sealed copy in Mint condition.
