Bill Harris worked with legendary songwriter/producer Van McCoy in the 70s, first on “Uptown Saturday Night” for Warner Brothers on what was the title song of a blaxploitation movie with the same name in 1974. This was before “Am I Cold, Am I Hot” this recording in 1975 which has become an evergreen soul classic.
