Very early original 1st UK issue of Queen’s fourth studio album “A Night At The Opera” released on EMI Records on November 21st, 1975. 1st issue “Made and Printed in Great Britain Garrod & Lofthouse Limited” gatefold cover with the embossed Queen coat of arms that doesn’t have the “'Crest design © Queen Production Ltd 1975” credit. This copy includes the 1st picture inner sleeve version with 3 die-cut corners containing the “EMTC-103” catalog number. This inner sleeve is incredibly rare because even many very early 1st pressing copies come with a 4 die-cut corner inner sleeve. The cover is in incredible condition remaining in the original shrink wrap that still has a retail record store price sticker in the upper right-hand corner. This copy comes with an original 1975 “Queen Invite You To A Night At The Opera” Great Britain Tour booklet with Queen’s coat of arms on the front cover. The glossy paper 20-page booklet measures 8 ¼” x 10½” featuring color photos, the description of the band, the bio of its members, discography tour dates, inside info, EMI Records greeting page as well as the information about “Mr Big” who opened for Queen during the UK tour. 1st print “Made in Gt Britain” Queen coat of arms custom labels with a 1.25” pressing ring and “EMTC 103” catalog number. 1st UK pressing mastered by Chris Blair as identified by the “Blair’s” handwritten etching in the runout grooves. The full matrix numbers of this copy are as follows: Side 1: YAX 5063-2 BLAIR'S ROG 4; Side 2: YAX 5064-3 BLAIR'S RPM 1.

The beautiful cover remaining in the original factory shrink wrap is in beautiful Near Mint Minus condition. I grade the glossy vinyl as Excellent with both sides barely having any surface marks. The clean labels are in Excellent Plus condition and would be Near Mint Minus if it wasn't due to some very light spindle marks that can be seen only under a strong light source. The 1st pressing cardboard inner sleeve with 3 die-cut corners is in Excellent condition only having a few very light creases. The original tour book is in stunning vintage Near Mint Minus condition. The vinyl sounds amazing only having some very light occasional static which most likely will go away if the record is professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
