From the liner notes: Bobby Wayne has a long list of record successes in the past and I have always admired his ability for knowing what is needed in arranging songs of a recording session. For this album the usual complement of electrified instruments was put aside for the "flat-top" and nylon string guitars which gives the album a definite "authentic" sound. I feel that with this, the first recorded collection of horse songs, Bobby Wayne has moved many a step up the ladder of success. We know you will want to see the new Walt Disney movie "Run Appaloose Run" and hope you will enjoy this album which includes, of course, the title song of the picture.
