DESCRIPTION
Seminal psychedelic afro rock LP in fantastic condition. Really outstanding and out there compositions that stand apart from the everyday funk lp. This LP is geting incredibly rare to find now especially in this condition. This is a holy grail LP that has had a huge influence on both the hip hop and drum and bass scenes in the UK and US. A seminal funk album in it's own right the music transfixes you from start to finish. Totally unmissable on original Makossa International First US Press.

CONDITION

Vinyl is in NM- and plays with little or no background noise across both sides. Darkest Light plays perfectly. There are a few light hairlines across the LP but nothing deep or that intrudes on the sound. It's highly unlikely you'll find a better copy audio-wise. I've provided recordings for you to judge for yourself. These were made on a Technics SL1200mk2  with a Shure Whitelabel cartridge.
This is a first pressing that I've owned for around 25 years.

There are matrix marks on the runout  : M-2311-B K-7587 and there is a stamp also which says Hall or Ball Sound (not fully legible) Please inspect the photos to see the matrix marks and vinyl.

The labels are bright and sharply printed with no staining or browning.
The sleeve has no splits or tears and looks great but I have marked it as  VG condition due to creasing at two corners and some light ringwear to the front as well as a little burring to the corners. Pretty damn good for a 50 year old LP. Please check the photos carefully.

Overall a very nice copy indeed and so hard to find nowadays let alone in this fantastic condition.  No one wants to let go of such a brilliant and hard to find LP that has been so influential on the Hip Hop and Drum & Bass scenes.

SHIPPING
Please note that shipping is from the UK so I have quoted a flat fee for international shipping. If the shipping is less I'll refund the difference. If it's more I'll suck it up!
