Billie Holiday and Her Orchestra
Strange Fruit / Fine and Mellow Commodore 526
Original 1939 pressing (4-39 text) with 52nd St. address.
Fine and Mellow side has a repaired chip. Whoever repaired it did an amazing job as it lightly ticks for the first 35 revolutions.
Chip does not affect Strange Fruit side.
Other than that, both sides play V+ and sound great.
There is a bit of tape on the label, Strange Fruit side.
Visual V, lots of scuffy looking marks esp on Fine and Mellow side, but overall very enjoyable player on our set up - and maybe a chance to get an OG one below market value.
