Original 1st US Vee-Jay Records Mono pressing 2 record set copy of “The International Battle of the Century: The Beatles vs The Four Seasons”. This LP set featuring “Introducing…The Beatles” and “Golden Hits of the Four Seasons” albums was pressed at the Monarch plant in Los Angeles. As a bonus, the album comes with an original full color Beatles picture suitable for framing 11½" x 23" promotional poster, which is larger than the size of 8" x 15" misprinted on the album's cover. The cover is in incredible Near Mint condition still remaining in the original factory shrink wrap.

Introducing the Beatles - Original 1st print color band Vee Jay VJLP 1062 labels with a 2.75” diameter pressing ring, [VJ] brackets logo, “Long Playing” and “Microgroove” print. Original 1st Mono Monarch, LA pressing as identified by the MR in a Circle stamp and Delta () stamp in the trail-off vinyl on both sides. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - 63-3402 MR 6307; Side 2 - 63-3403 MR 6307x 3 in s Circle.

The Golden Hits of The Four Seasons - Original 1st print color band Vee Jay VJLP 1065 labels with a 2.75" diameter pressing ring, VJ brackets logo, “Long Playing” and “Microgroove” print. Original 1st vinyl pressing with the very early 1st matrix numbers in the trail-off vinyl. The vinyl also contains a date ”2-3-63” stamp and a machine ”AudioMatrix” stamp. The full matrix numbers are as follows: Side 1 - 63-3408 MR ARC A RA 5713 2-3-63 AudioMatrix; Side 2 - 63-3409 MR ARC A RA 5713-X 2-3-63 AudioMatrix

The album comes with 2 very rare original "The Greatest Gospel Sound On Record Is On Vee-Jay Records" inner sleeves.

I grade the cover as Near Mint Minus. It's extremely hard to find a copy of this album with the cover being in such a clean and beautiful condition, only having some very light barely noticeable scuffing at the mouth's center on the front. The cover remains in the original fully intact factory shrink wrap which just has some very light age shelf wear. I grade the glossy vinyl as Very Good Plus for both records that have some very light non-feelable surface hairlines as well as some light scuffs from the original Vee-Jay red background inner sleeves which are in Near Mint Minus condition and don't have any splits or tears. The very clean labels of both records are in Near Mint Minus condition, completely wear- and scuff-free, just having a few very light spindle marks that can be seen only under a strong light (Except for the Side 1 label of "Introducing the Beatles" which doesn't have any spindle marks). The vinyl sounds great with just some very light occasional static which can be heard only at a loud volume during the quiet passages and most likely would go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
