Original one of the re-packaged versions of The Beatles Introducing the Beatles, “Songs, Pictures and Stories of The Fabulous Beatles. Original 1st US Stereo pressing Version 2 with an ultra-rare "SOUVENIR OF THEIR APPEARANCE AT THE COW PALACE, SAN FRANCISCO - AUGUST 19, 1964" concert banner at the bottom of the front cover. These large black concert banner promo stickers were sold exclusively at record stores located in the concert venue cities. This copy is from the band's appearance at the "Cow Palace Arena & Event Centre" in San Francisco, California on August 19, 1964. Original thick cardboard unique ¾, 8-inch fold-over gatefold cover (front flap of the cover is shorter than the back flap). The front cover also contains an orange-red “Stereo” sticker below the concert banner. Original Stereo Vee-Jay VJLP 1062 / 63-3402 catalog number deep groove 2.75” diameter pressing ring silver print Vee-Jay logo black labels with a “Stereo” banner and centered song titles. True Stereo Monarch, Los Angeles plant pressing with the “S” suffix and “Stereo” banner etched in the runout groove on both sides. The full 1st matrix number including the “MR” stamp and Delta () stampers are as follows: Side 1- S 63-3402-STEREO 6313 MR in a Circle; Side 2 - S 63-3403-STEREO URJ 6313X MR in a Circle. The album comes with the original Vee-Jay Records "The Great Gospel Artists Are On Vee-Jay Records / Other Fine Albums Of Significant Interest" inner sleeve with red background, featuring 50 color photos of other Vee-Jay releases.

The cover is very clean and is graded as Excellent. It doesn't have any splits or ring wear, except for the back cover which has a light hint of it at the bottom. There're a few very small creases along the spine which are barely noticeable. The spine and edges of the cover are in beautiful condition with perhaps, just some very light occasional scuffing. It's extremely rare as usually, the edges of this issue's covers have severe splits, wear and in some instances, even missing pieces. The gatefold interior is in Excellent condition. There's a small area, above Paul's head on the right, which seemingly had some small half an inch ball pen writing, but now the remains of the ink are so faded that it's barely noticeable. I grade the vinyl as Very Good Plus. It retains its shiny factory gloss but has some very light non-feelable surface hairlines as well as scuffs from the original inner sleeve which is in Near Mint Minus condition and doesn't have any splits, tears or missing pieces. Just like the cover, the labels of this issue are also very often found with a significant scuffing. However, the labels of this copy's vinyl are scuff- and wear-free, with only a few very light spindle marks that can be seen under a strong light. The Side 1 label has a black ball pen name writing above the spindle hole, but it's barely visible as it almost completely blends in with the color of the label itself. The vinyl sounds amazing with just some light occasional static which can be heard only at a loud volume during the quiet passages and most likely, would go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine.
