Original 1st US Mono pressing of The Beatles’ and George Martin’s original motion picture soundtrack “A Hard Day’s Night”. The US version of the album was released on June 26th, 1964 by United Artists Records with the album going to number one on the Billboard album chart, spending 14 weeks there, which was the longest run of any album that year. United Artists rushed the album into stores over a month before the film's US premiere and as a result, the Beatles had both the number-one album and number-one single in the country when A Hard Day's Night opened on 11 August 1964. The currently listed copy of this album remains factory sealed and contains the original promotional “Includes Ringo’s Theme (This Boy) / And I Love Her” orange 2 ¼” hype sticker affixed to the front cover’s center underneath the shrink wrap which can be found on the covers of the later pressing of 1964. The front cover also retains the original record store “Hi-Fi” sticker with the $2.77 price affixed to the shrink wrap. Very rare 1st misprint 2nd cover variation with the credits written in four lines on the back crediting "This Boy" and “I Cry Instead” to Maclen Music Inc. while the other songs are co-credited to Unart Music. The back cover misprints the "I'll Cry Instead" track as "I Cry Instead". This copy comes with a very rare original 1963 1st “Keys” print 8 ½” x 11” 4-page “The Beatles Ringo’s Theme (This Boy)” orange sheet music with the Northern Songs Ltd. and Maclen Music, Inc. credits.

Stunning Mint Minus copy. The bottom left corner only has a very light ding. Aside from that the album is in great condition. The shrink wrap containing the original breathe holes on the front cover is fully intact and doesn't have any splits, tears or missing pieces. The original sheet music is in vintage Mint Minus condition.
