Original 1st US Capitol Records pressing of Wings’ “Venus and Mars” released on May 27, 1975. Factory sealed copy with full memorabilia set inside featuring a custom cardboard inner sleeve, two posters and a “planets” strip sticker. The design of the gatefold cover as well as the one of the memorabilia was created by the graphic designer from the legendary Hipgnosis company, George Hardie. For the promotion of the new Wings’ album, Capitol Records ordered the promotional apparel merch from the Mayo Spruce Sportwear company before the album’s official release date. We’ve included into this listing an original black Capitol Records vintage promotional T-shirt in fantastic condition. The front side of the T-shirt has a red and a yellow ball depicted on the chest area above the pocket while the back side contains a “It’s All Balls” slogan above the Capitol Records logo. The right sleeve has the band name written in the same font as the one on the LP cover. The original tag is still intact indicating the US size Medium (38-40). The T-shirt measures 18” from pit to pit, 17” in the shoulder area with the length of 24”.
