URGENT UPDATE - CANADA POST STRIKE
Please note there is a very recent postal strike here in Canada.
If you are a winning bidder your package WILL BE DELAYED…
I obviously will honour any winning bids but until the strike is over there is no way for me to ship to you as cheaply as they offer.
IF you wish to arrange with me an alternative carrier, UPS, FEDEX etc. I will consider that but we will have to chat after the auction closes re the S&H costs.
Thank you for your attention.
Paul.
Condition overall:
Cover is Fair.
Vinyl is Fair.
Record is officially 50 years old and apart from track one which has a slight double skip it plays very reasonably well.
This is a Rush music collectible investment rather than an audiophile quality sound collectors piece.
Only 3,500 copies of the iconic MN-100 Moon’s were made and these are becoming rarer and rarer and will only increase in value over time.
There are few crystal clear copies out there and if there are they are $2,000+ and rarer than hen’s teeth.
I have included numerous pictures of the vinyl’s condition. I can take many more if you need, but I will tell you now that it is surface scuffed and has minor needle marks on both sides of the LP.
There are also numerous photos of the cover and close ups of any wear and tear as well as damage.
Note the blue pen inside outline on the ‘R’ of the RUSH.
You will totally know what you are buying. This record is in fair condition considering its 50 year age.
The vinyl has been recently thoroughly washed, cleaned and air dried.
The MOON label is in good/very good condition.
I am, and still am a huge Rush fan and I am very sorry to part with this, but I have bills to pay and sadly this needs to go.
Description of the playing record itself:
Background crackle/hiss/vinyl noise throughout on both sides of the album, slightly less on Side Two.
Multiple scuffs and lights scratches on both sides of the LP that did not wash out when cleaned, as stated above, do not expect a good, excellent or mint vinyl record surface.
Side One.
Finding My Way - two skips early on in the track but continues on playing.
Need Some Love - plays clearly throughout.
Take A Friend - plays clearly throughout.
Here Again - plays clearly throughout.
Side Two.
What You’re Doing - plays clearly throughout.
In The Mood - plays clearly throughout.
Before And After - plays clearly throughout.
Working Man - plays clearly and kick assingly throughout…
Original paper sleeve inside but vinyl is now in a new inner sleeve for better protection.
It will be listed across multiple sites so if this sale vanishes then it sold on another platform.
If you need more pictures or information please drop me a line and I will respond within a day or two.
I am a trusted Rush fan and seller and will be honest with you on what you’re really buying.
The price may look high but I will be patient for the right price, please no low ball offers as I will not respond.
Bid to buy and thanks for looking.
