This is a rare and collectible 7" vinyl record by the DAVE CLARK FIVE, released in 1963 by Columbia E.M.I. Limited. The record features the songs "Glad All Over" and "I Know You" and is a first pressing in white label demo format. The record grading is very good plus (VG+)//mint minus (M-), and it comes with an original inner sleeve.
This single is a must-have for any serious collector of rock music from the 1960s. The record is made of high-quality vinyl and has been well-preserved, making it a great addition to any collection. The release title is a classic representation of the band's unique beat-mod-pop-psychedelic rock style, which was popular in the United Kingdom during the 1960s. This item is listed in the Vinyl Records and Music categories, and is a great find for any fan of the DAVE CLARK FIVE or 1960s rock in general.
It is easy to trace the history of this disc as it was a present to my parents who at the time of this release were expecting me. Dated 15 November 1963, I did not make an appearance until a few weeks later in 25th December 1963.
When I arrived into the world the Number one in the UK Charts was the Beatles and " I want to Hold Your Hand " ....but this song was knocked off of the Number One spot in January 1964 by " The Dave Clarke Five's " Glad All Over"
The record in excellent contrition. Spent most of its 60 year life in a Record Singles Box. Possible un played over the time.... if ever.
I have found a duplicate of this Record in America ( eBay item number:384021384149 ) , and the writing on the label 2.30 approx (Denoting the Length of play) is in the same hand writing. Which I do find very amazing that two singles could be still around but thousands of Miles apart. Mine here in the UK, the other in the USA Pennsylvania I believe.
Rare record needing for a new loving home.
Will post 2nd Class Sign for to ensure that the Disc arrives in a timely manner in the best of conditions.
