Japanese edition of the 1978 collection of the U.K. Beatles album output from the sixties with the addition of a Rarities album compiling non LP cuts.
The set has the usual high standards of mastering for the vinyl and the sleeves are heavy duty card. Other differences to the U.K. set are:
All of the records are on the Apple label, except Rarities which is on Odeon Please Please Me and With The Beatles include a eight page colour inserts The remaining albums include four page, black and white inserts The White Album has the poster on textured, satin paper. The four portrait pictures of the Beatles are combined into one, large fold out poster The White Albums were individually machine stamped with a unique serial number. This one is A370965 Yellow Submarine follows the US sleeve design Let It Be also follows the US sleeve design, meaning it’s a gatefold with images from the movie It goes without saying that this book uses the original 1960’s masters.
