Dolo Coker - All Alone / Xanadu Records LP New and Sealed 1981
Dolo Coker's fourth and final album as a leader is a set of unaccompanied piano solos with the emphasis on reflective ballads (although there are also a couple of swinging tunes). Coker performs six of his little-known (but generally rewarding) originals plus "Cabin in the Sky" and "Try a Little Tenderness." All of Dolo Coker's Xanadu dates are worth picking up but they may be hard to find.
