Very rare vinyl LP with an additional copy of the "Test Pressing"

The TP is the only 'known & surviving' copy held until now in a private collection, obtained directly from the pressing plant.

The actual LP release is one of the 1st copies pressed. It includes the original advertisement flyer (Folded one additional time.)

Also included is a small portion of "foam core" copy of the ROBOTECH logo that was used at a convention display to announce the release.

SURFACE CONDITION:

Each record was listened to only once by headphones, after pressing, to check & approve the quality before release to the public. The records were then stored in a private collector's file vault (Since 1987). Recently uncovered & now for sale here. Seller has personally monitored the history of these items & guarantees these facts.

Records were not played or checked before listing on eBay.

You might hear some crackles here & there.

They look good as "Used"  & I am sure they have not been touched since inception.

OTHER:

The USR flyer has an additional fold.

The foam core piece was kept apart from the records & got kicked around several warehouses & stored in many different crates over a couple decades. It is old, kept unprotected & has wear. There are Velcro tears on the back where it was one used in a convention display.

NOTES:

This vinyl record from U.S. Renditions was the only LP release of the Robotech soundtrack in North America. The track selection represented only a small portion of the Robotech musical score from the original television series since additional volumes were never released. This album was the first domestic anime product of U.S. Renditions as well as the first ever American anime BGM album. The album was produced by David Keith Riddick who was a founding member of U.S. Renditions.
