Limited to 300 copies, this 7" was released in conjunction with Failure's reunion show at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on February 13th, 2014. The 7" was made available only with the purchase of a "Limited Vinyl" ticket to the event from either AXS.com or Amoeba Music in Hollywood.
"Solaris 2014" is a reworked version of the track "Solaris" from the 1996 album, "Fantastic Planet". It has a considerably slower tempo than the original and a completely new outro.
"Shrine" was originally recorded in 1992 and released on a collection of demo material assembled be Ken Andrews and Greg Edwards in 2004 called "Golden".
