THE IMPOTENT SEA SNAKES
Too Cool for Rock’n’Roll
PRAVDA RECORDS PR 013.
Includes original lyric sheet.
Issued in 1986.
The Impotent Sea Snakes were an American rock'n'roll band from Atlanta, Georgia known for their sexually explicit lyrics and performances and probably best known for their most high profile, publicized, and prolific touring period which lasted roughly from 1996-2004.
The band put out three albums: Too Cool for Rock n' Roll (EP, 1984) which was re-released in 1986 minus two songs: "Honey Dippers In Love" and "Heatwave" but with 8 additional new songs, God Save the Queens (1995), Everything in Excess (2001), and one officially released DVD: Impotent Sea Snakes Live in Germany (2005). The band also appeared on HBO's "Real Sex" TV series.
Album cover in split shrink wrap, with a price label attached. LP is very clean, with no wear or defects to label or vinyl. Excellent gloss. VINYL IS GRADED E+ (NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT PLUS (E+) = Shows that it has been played, otherwise near perfect.)
Please note that scanned image of my actual LP may not precisely reproduce album cover color or condition.
PLEASE READ VINYL GRADING GUIDELINES BELOW CAREFULLY
BASIC VINYL GRADING GUIDELINES:
MINT (M) = Looks new. Shows no sign of use.NEAR MINT/EXCELLENT PLUS (E+) = Shows that it has been played, otherwise near perfect.
EXCELLENT (E) = Shows slight wear with original shine. Minimum noise. No surface faults of any consequence.
NEAR EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT MINUS (E-) = Surface shows slight minor faults. May have slight noise.
VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) = Shows wear with light grayness in some of the grooves. May have some light scratches or rubs. Noise becoming a factor, but does not overwhelm the music.
VERY GOOD (VG) = The average playable record with grayness in the grooves, light scratches or rubs, noise is stronger but acceptable. Collectible.
VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-) = Major faults such as multiple scratches , rubs, digs and serious needle runs. Graying all over. Noise still tolerable. Has been played often. Still acceptable.
GOOD (G) = Not really good. Almost a filler. Major multiple faults. Noise exceeds music. Used only for a rare or scarce record.
Poor (P) = Filler only. Sold "as is" with no refund. Only the rarest records would be sold in this condition.
An additional Plus (+) and Minus (-) is used for more detailed accuracy.
