Mint: Only used for sealed records. Sealed records are assumed to be mint.  I HAVE NONE OF THESE.

Near Mint: Not perfect but close. A very minor mark or two and very little else can appear on the vinyl. Has been handled with extreme care.

VG+: may show some slight signs of wear which includes light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience.  (Player's Grade)

VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible when played.  VG record has surface noise and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. However, the noise will not overpower the music.

Special Note:  This album (and others that I am posting) come from a Kinks collection.  They were, therefore, taken care of quite well.  Cover conditions tend to be VG+ and higher.  Spines are not split.  Vinyl is VG+ to NM. 

Item:  Kinks album:  Muswell Hillbillies.  Reprise RCA LSP- 4644.  

Vinyl Condition:  NM-.   I see no scratches.  Some light fingerprints.  Nice factory shine.  Owned by a serious Kink collector and fan.  He took very good care of his records.  

Labels:  Extra clean. 

Sleeve:  Has original paper sleeve that says "dynaflex."  Nice condition.  Normal toning.  

Cover Condition:   VG / VG+ with rub signs.  No writing.  Spine is nice.  Nice shine.  Average edge / corner wear, some light ring wear.  It has been kept in a temperature-controlled home for many years.

Overall Condition:  Clean, no surprises.  A nice addition to any Kinks collection.
