This is a ‘Near Mint’, ‘First Pressing’ of Celtic Frost’s ‘To Mega Therion’ LP. I purchased this on release in 1985.
NOISE N0031
I buy a lot of music myself from Ebay and I am very committed to making sure that you can buy with confidence from me.
All of my vinyl listings are being sold from my personal collection. All records have been carefully stored vertically and protected.
This album will be supplied in the high grade plastic album protector in which it has been stored for these 25+ years.
Please be assured that I take great care when describing the condition of the Sleeves, Inners and discs. I always use the Record Collector grading system. I have played all of these albums in the past on a high quality turntable and have graded them visually in bright light for sale. I will always specifically list any known flaws.
All of my records have been carefully used so I will only use the highest quality description of ‘Near Mint’ as ‘Mint’ should be reserved for ‘New’ unused items.
Where I believe the record to be a ‘First Pressing’ I will list the Matrix Codes.
Sleeve condition: Gatefold ‘Excellent’ – to ensure a complete description – there is some very minor edge wear and creasing on the spine. Bright ‘as new’ colours.
Inner condition: Original lyric insert – Very Good – slight crease.
Disc condition: Has been played on a high quality turntable but the disc looks practically flawless from all angles so ‘Near Mint’. To ensure a complete description – there is a surface mark visible on Track 1 of Side A – but I have played through and listened very carefully and couldn’t hear anything through headphones.
There are some specs of dust but because the method of cleaning records varies so much from person to person – I am going to leave this to the buyer.
Matrix codes: N 0031-A/B
All photos are of the actual record that you are buying. I always try and provide a range of photos so that you can clearly see the condition – but please send me a message if you would like me to try and provide an image from a different angle / close-up.
Of course I am looking for a fair price for my record, but I also try and set the starting price to represent very competitive good value when compared to other records of the same quality for sale.
All records will be packaged in superior quality purpose designed cardboard vinyl mailers. Although these are very protective, I always use an additional corrugated cardboard stiffener. I want these records to continue to be enjoyed and used for many years so I will do everything I can to make sure that they get to you safely.
Please check out my other records for sale as I am always happy to offer combined discounted postage and packaging for multiple items. Unfortunately, because of the dimensions of 12” albums, the postage costs for one record with Royal Mail are for a “Small Parcel”. I can provide quotations for enhanced postage services. I am also happy to provide a quote for additional protective packaging. All records with be posted with the disc and inner outside of the sleeve to protect the sleeve edges.
I do recommend tracked delivery for rare vinyl – so I would be happy to agree postage options with the buyer.
I am generally happy to post internationally, but due to the potentially high costs of postage – please do send me a message first for a quotation before bidding. Please also note that as the buyer you will be responsible for any import duties.
I am sure that you will be happy with your record when it arrives and I look forward to exchanging feedback. If however, you have any concerns, then please do send me a message and I will do my best to resolve any issues.
I am happy to answer any questions – Good Luck!
