   RECORD AND SLEEVE GRADING:

M        : Perfect in evey way. Never played. Possiibly sealed.

NM    :   A nearly perfect record. No obvious signs of wear. No creases, seam splits, folds or any other noticeable similar defect.

VG+ :   May show some signs of wear, few surface marks  but highly cared for. Slight scuffs or very light scratches may be present and do not affect sound. Label and sleeve may have wear. The label may have some ring wear or discoloration but should be minor. Picture sleeves, 45 sleeves and LP inner sleeves may have some slight ring wear, lightly turned -up corners, or a slight seam split. An LP jacket may have slight signs of wear also and may be marred by a cut -hole, indentation or corner indicating it was taken out of print and sold as a discount. In general, if not for a couple minor things with it, the record would be Near Mint.  Sometimes referred to as Excellent.

VG      :  Surface marks may be seen or heard.   Quality of sound still good and pleasurable .May have slight audible imperfections. Plays without skipping. Labels may be marred by writing or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.

G         : Well played. Apparent visual and audible wear. Jacket or sleeve may have seam splits. Tape, writing, ring wear will be apparent.

 Poor:   :  Just good to collect for visual pleasure. Cracked, wrapped, skips."
