This is a original white label promo copy of the 1970 re-release (the original came out in 1961) of Del Close & John Brent's "How To Speak Hip" LP on Mercury. This LP was part of the collection of a gentleman who was a radio DJ from 1969-1972.
Condition: the jacket shows general light wear including ringwear visible top and bottom center. There is some paper coming away from the top left corner, and about 1/2" of paper missing from the bottom edge at the lower right corner. There is about a 2" split bottom center.
Visually the vinyl is NM- with high gloss and superb labels. There are light, superficial marks of the "sleeve rash" variety on both sides. Both sides play beautifully with only very light surface noise which seems to be more audible at the beginning of each side.
Comes with the original "hip manual" booklet which is in superb condition.
Shipping Info: Media Mail to the US is $4, add $1 for each additional LP. First Class to Canada is $10, add $1.50 for each additional LP. First Class to Europe & Japan is $18, add $1.50 for each additional LP.
Payment Info: Your paypal payment is due within 7 days of the auction's end.
