Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back' 1980 US soundtrack gatefold vinyl LP in VERY GOOD+ condition.

Visual:
Side 1 - a few hairline marks and sleeve removal trails but nothing majorly serious. Needs a clean. Label is Excellent. Side 2 - more hairlines than Side 1 and a bit dirtier but no deep major scratches. Needs a clean. Label is Excellent. Side 3 - a slightly dusty record with a few marks and light scratches but nothing deep, just needs a clean. Label is Very Good+. Side 4 - same as Side 3! Could do with a clean with some sort of cleaning solution. 
Audio:
Audio currently rated as VERY GOOD+/EXCELLENT-. I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! Background crackle throughout - more noticeable in the quieter passages but it isn't overbearing and never gets in the way of the music. Fantastic punchy sound! Very crisp and there is a lot of clarity! I'd rate it as EXCELLENT if it wasn't for the background crackle - a deep clean could get rid of this (I do not have the facilities to do so). Lies flat and plays very well.


The inner sleeves are brand new and in MINT condition. I think the black goes well with the whole theme of the album. The cover has seen better days but still has the booklet inside INTACT! Staples are starting to loosen up a bit but it's definitely intact and looks great! Slight creasing to the booklet throughout but nothing too serious. Cover has creasing too and has ringwear on both sides. Spine is slightly damaged in the centre but is still readable. Currently rates as VERY GOOD. HOlding up very well!
Overall, a nice cope to look at and to listen to.

As with all the vintage records I sell, I advise a deep clean to enhance the sound quality of the record. Overall, a classic Star Wars record that sounds great and is getting harder to find!
