GRADING: If there are two grades, cover is graded first, then the record. All records are graded visually unless otherwise noted. I use the following grades:

RECORD CONDITION:

NM (Near Mint): My highest grade.Record looks like new and quite possibly unplayed.

VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus):  Record may have some visual imperfections such as sleeve scuffs or storage wear that should not affect the sound. Should play almost like a near mint record, or possibly as good as a near mint record.

VG+ (Very Good Plus):  A well taken care of record, but will show signs of play or handling. It will have light scuffs or hairlines, but the sound should be clear with minimal surface noise.

VG (Very Good):  A VG record will show more wear, but is still an enjoyable record. There may be some clicks and pops, but surface noise will not overpower the music. Noise will be most noticeable in quieter parts.

VG- (Very Good Minus):  There may be deeper scratches at this grade, most likely feelable with a fingernail. It will play with some clicks and pops, but still enjoyable with no skipping or repeating.

G (Good):  I try not to list records in thisgrade. It will have heavy wear and surface noise will most likely be evident throughout, but will not skip. Any record in this grade will be playgraded

COVER CONDITION:

SS (Still Sealed):  Unopened in the original shrinkwrap. Any cover defects will be noted in the item description.

NM (Near Mint): A NM cover will look like it was just taken home from the store. It may have a minor defect such as a lightly bumped corner or signs of careful handling. There will be NO seam splits, tears, stickers, sticker residue or other flaws.

VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus):  A cover in this grade will be very close to NM, but has some minor defects which barely hold it back. It may have a cutout mark, slightly bumped corners, the beginning of ringwear or very light edgewear. There are no seam splits or major problems. My VG++ is similar to many dealer's NM grade.

VG+ (Very Good Plus):  A VG+ cover will show more signs of careful handling, but defects will be slightly more pronounced. There may be light ringwear, lightly bent corners, small seam splits, small writing or light edgewear and flaking. This grade is above average and is more than acceptable to all but the pickiest of collectors.

VG (Very Good):  A VG Cover will have problems which are slightly more pronounced than a VG+ cover. Ringwear may be more noticeable, corners and edges may be dulled or lightly frayed, small writing, sticker pulls or a small tear. A VG cover isn't trashed, but isn't perfect either.

            G(Good):  See item description

            F(Fair):  See item Description

            P(Poor):  See item Description
