"ENGLAND'S NEWEST HITMAKERS" is the first Stones lp released in the U.S.  This one is a first pressing.  Beat Zenith.com The Rolling Stones U.S. LP Label History says the maroon unboxed London label is the first 100% U.S. pressing of their first four albums. Also showing a first pressing is the front cover-on the lower left is a box with "FREE full color photo of THE ROLLING STONES inside". Later pressings don't have that box.  The photo is not included with this album.  The vinyl is VG+:  a little light scuffing and some fine paper lines, a very light scratch on side 1 at the very end of track 2 and the very start of track 3 that causes a short amount of slight popping.  Play tested with no skips and minimal surface noise.  The record sounds really good and retains some of its original gloss.  The album cover is VG+:  no writing, very very light ringwear on the front-the back and front look great after 51 years.  The only flaw is a 1.5 inch split in the middle of the spine that's been covered with a piece of scotch tape (see pic).  The rest of the spine is in good shape as is the top seam.  The bottom seam has some shelf and corner wear.  There is some spindle hole wear.  Deadwax matrix machine stamps: Side 1-ARL 6291 T1   Side 2-ARL 6292 T1.  First release by the Greatest Rock n Roll Band Of All Time!  Please email me with any questions and thanks for looking!
