Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Rubber Soul 12" 1965 mono original Parlophone LP vinyl press' in overall VERY GOOD condition. 

VINYL:-
Visual:
Side 1 - plenty of hairlines and light marks. Nothing feelable but looks well-played. Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is GOOD/GOOD+. Side 2 - same as Side 1 with a few small light feelable marks. Label has initials in yellow pound sign logo.

Audio:
In my opinion, the audio is in a very strong, solid VERY GOOD+ condition!!! I have play tested it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO JUMPS and NO STICKS on my system! VERY SURPRISING CONSIDERING THE VISUAL CONDITION OF THE RECORD!! Obviously, a well looked after LP that is holding up really well!! There is some background crackle present - which is expected from such an old record. It never really interferes with the audio and probably just needs a deep clean! Very punchy, loud mono audio with a lot of clarity! Quite surprising really but this is a great player and you won't be disappointed! A very very enjoyable listen!



The original EJ DAY flipback mono sleeve is 100% intact and houses the record very well. I rate it as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD!! The front of the sleeve has some laminate creasing in places (mainly towards the edges) but it is nice and clean! The rear of the sleeve has some discolouration and writing towards the top right. Age-related wear elsewhere. Flipbacks are nice and tight, just discoloured with light wear. Spine is 100% readable! Slightly discoloured with very minor creasing - looks good!!
