Hello and welcome to this auction for a 'Beatles - Revolver 12" 1966 mono EJ DAY original Parlophone pressing LP vinyl' in overall VERY GOOD condition.

VINYL:-
Visual:
Side 1 - lots of hairlines and light scratches but not deep. The disc seems to have been cleaned with some sort of liquid as this can be seen on the surface of the disc and slightly on the label...might be a good thing! Rated as VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD-. Side 2 - same as Side 1 except this side looks like it has been cleaned but not dried professionally...shouldn't affect the audio! Rated as GOOD+/VERY GOOD-. Label is VERY GOOD-.

Audio:
Audio currently rated as VERY GOOD-/VERY GOOD!! I have played it all the way through and can confirm that there are NO SKIPS, NO STICKS and NO JUMPS on my system!! There is some background crackle throughout but it is never overbearing and never really gets in the way! Mainly in the quieter passages and in-between tracks but it is present elsewhere. A deep clean would probably help with this but it's still a very enjoyable listen! VERY punchy audio with a lovely rich bass tone! A fantastic mono mix for a fantastic album. Lies very flat and plays very well!

The original EMITEX inner sleeve is in GOOD- condition. Unfortunately, there is a large split to the right side, from the very top to about half way down - so about a 6" split. The record is still housed well once it is inside the outer sleeve.

The original 1966 mono flipback EJ DAY sleeve is currently rated as VERY GOOD! The front of the sleeve has some creasing and laminate creasing. But it also has a lovely gloss and shine, with little discolouration. There is some tape residue under the word 'REVOLVER' but the sleeve is NOT split. The rear of the sleeve has some ink staining over the Side one tracklisting. All tracks can still be read. It also has some light ringwear and some age-related wear and discolouration on the flipbacks. The flipbacks are intact and the spine is 100% readable, only being a little rounded and discoloured.
