This is the original UK LP by The BEATLES, SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND, 1967 Mono on the black and yellow PARLOPHONE label PMC 7027, with 'GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD' rim credits and 'SOLD IN THE UK' label credits

Matrix numbers are:-  Side 1:-   XEX 637-1,     Side 2:-  XEX 688-1

Stamper codes are,  Side 1:-  3/7 / MMR,     Side 2:-  1/9  / MRH

The LP comes with it's original 1967 UK SGT.PEPPER CUT-OUT INSERT

The original 1st issue fools inner sleeve is missing. However I believe the white inner sleeve with this LP is a late 60's EMI inner sleeve intended for the 2nd Sgt. Pepper UK pressing. This would possibly be consistant with the vinyl itself as the stamper codes suggest this is a late '67 through to early '68 Pressing.

The cover is unusual as well, 1st I didn't notice it, but with more attention, 'SGT.PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND' wording on the spine is the wrong way around, upside down, and reads from right to left, instead of how it is supposed to read from left to right. An amazing mistake by the usual high standards of EMI.

The original 1967 UK 1st issue Garrod and Lothouse Mono gatefold fully laminated cover, with inside top flipbacks is in a STUNNING MINT- (minus) condition, only a little nudging and slight wear to the bottom right hand corner stops this beautiful cover form being MINT !. The cover maintains all it's original bright vibrant colour, the thick glossy laminated simply shines, beautiful and clean, with sharp edges. The spine is superb, fully intact, solid, clean and perfectly readable - (but the wrong way round).

The vinyl visually - Side 1 is in EX+++ condition,  Side 2 is in MINT condition!. On side 1 their are only 2 small hairlines, only one sounds, right at the start, 5 soft underlying clicks, very soon disappears, no sticking no jumping, plays though perfectly.  The other very small hairline does not sound at all. The vinyl maintains all its original factory fresh glossy shine!.

The whole album plays EX+++!. A powerful, clean crisp Mono sound, displaying crystal clear audio, ONLY a hint of very light crackle in some places,  SUPERB SOUNDING VINYL !. TOP TOP QUALITY PRESSING, JAW DROPPING IN PLACES!

The label's are in EX+++ / MINT- condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original vibrant colour. Their is no unwanted writing, no wear to the centre spindle hole. KT tax code is embossed on side 2's label.

The vinyl is housed in a original UK EMI late 60's white inner sleeve, meant I think for the late 60's UK SGT.PEPPER, (not 100% certain), the inner sleeve is in EX+++ condition, nice and clean, no unwanted writing, no seam splits

The original 1967 UK 1st issue SGT.PEPPER cut-out insert is in MINT- condition, clean, bright and vibrant, beautiful!.
