Spanning the years 1965-1969, the Capitol Northern Soul 7’s Box Set brings together offerings from some well-known names and others that time seemingly forgot. The Outsider’s ‘Lonely Man’ is being issued here legally for the very first time whilst there is also a first time 7” appearance for The Magnificent Men’s ‘Keep on Climbin’, a storming 60s dancer which had previously only existed as an album cut and was just begging to be pressed as a 7”.
