Hi! Up for sale i have a set of 2 double lps by the Grateful Dead, entitled Dead in Cornell Volume 1 and Dead in Cornell Volume 2. Together this 2 albums/4 discs constitute the entire show at Cornell University on 5/8/77. Volume 1 is on orange and blue vinyl, volume 2 is on green and grey. Over an hour and a half of music between these! Sleeves on both are NM+, very glossy. Now for the grading and description by disc "Dead In Cornell Volume 1" Volume 1 is on 180 gram vinyl, volume 2 normal weight it seems. . Destined to be a collector's item. Condition is NM/NM all around, disc 1 has a little surface scuff at the very end, but as it does not affect play in the slightest , the album is unplayed, and i have seen this identical mark on multiple copies, i can assume it was just an aesthetic "rub" applied by the pressing plant, which is fairly common .. Does not lower the value or affect play IN THE SLIGHTEST - "Dead in Cornell Volume 2". This is the second half of their legendary show on 5/8/77 at Cornell University. What an album, this is the half of the show where they really start jamming the songs out, hence the very short track list (its about 35 minutes of music per disc). The cover is marked erroneously, as "dancing the streets" is on volume 1 though uncredited, the song "Fire on the Mountain" is on the album but not credited on the sleeve. . Only issue with this is that there are a few occasions where a split second of music goes missing. They aren't skips, theres no dead space and the needle doesn't move, just there is a slight tick in the song. They are literally almost unnoticeable, but I'm sure if i picked it up then you would too so i thought it bore mention =). There is not a better quality version of this show on vinyl, period. - i grade very conservatively, to ensure satisfaction, you will be 100% satisfied or i will refund your money, guaranteed! Sorry for the shoddiness of the photos, I'm no photographer, but you'll love it thats a promise- i'll get some better photos if the sun ever comes out. Please check the photos for track listing and other information. Shipping will be 4$ US Media Mail,22$ Canada/Mexico, and 32$ world for standard First Class mail.
