Limited pink vinyl LP pressing, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Primus' trailblazing studio debut, Frizzle Fry was originally released on Caroline in 1990. Five of the album's tracks - "Groundhog's Day," "Frizzle Fry," "John the Fisherman," "Pudding Time" and "Harold of the Rocks" - were previously featured in live form on the band's 1989 album Suck on This and both were produced by Matt "Exxon" Winegar. Les Claypool and company pay their respects to a range of influences here from Zappa to Funkadelic to Metallica, all underscored with great panache by their leader's signature slap bass, cartoonish vocals and madcap sense of humor. Frizzle Fry's imaginative, newfangled sound was as refreshing as you could get at the time and it remains a high-water mark in the group's idiosyncratic catalog.

Note:  We have carefully split the shrink wrap on one copy to check the color of the vinyl and to photograph it.  The LP was carefully extracted and was never played.  We will distribute this copy last.
