Limited 180 gram olive green colored vinyl LP pressing. Previously out of press for years, the album is being brought back to vinyl for the first time since it's original release. Offspring's metal-inflected punk became a sensation in 1994 when their third album Smash sold over four million albums on an independent label. While the group's credentials and approach follow the indie rock tradition of the '80s, sonically they sound more like an edgy, hard-driving heavy metal band, with their precise, pulsing power chords and Dexter Holland's flat vocals. Platinum certified follow-up Ixnay on the Hombre, was issued in 1997 on Columbia Records and produced by Dave Jerden. Their fourth album overall, the 15-track effort sold more than three million copies worldwide and peaked at #9 on the Billboard 200, with the three singles "All I Want," "Gone Away," and "I Choose" all hitting the Modern Rock charts.
