On April 18th 2016 fans of John Butler Trio will finally get a chance to add an exclusive Record Store Day release to their collection, Butler’s illustrious signature song OCEAN. This is the vinyl debut of his instrumental masterpiece, initially recorded as part of Butler’s first album/cassette, “Searching for Heritage,” and later featured on his self-titled studio album John Butler.

“OCEAN is a very interesting aspect of my life,” says Butler. “It is part of my DNA. It conveys all things I can’t put into words: life, loss, love, spirit. As I evolve so too does Ocean.”
