The record has 47 West 63rd NYC address on both labels; 43 West 61st St. address on the bottom of the back cover. The record has a deep groove on 1 side only. The record has "RVG" and the "ear" inscribed in the dead wax. Leader, Hank Mobley, tenor sax; Freddie Hubbard, trumpet; Wynton Kelly, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; Art Blakey, drums.
Cover: Fair(-) 1" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. The back of the jacket shows considerable wear, soil, and aging. Name of the previous owner is written twice on the back cover. Ink check marks are next to the tune titles on the back cover. The front cover has a small tear at the insert edge with some paper loss. The balance of the front cover shows light aging and much less discoloration than the back cover.
Record: Fair(-) Visually the record shows considerable surface wear. There are numerous surface rub marks on both sides, though, no significant scratches. There is groove noise audible on the first 1/2 of Track 1, Side 1 with some additional clicks on the balance of the track. There are some irregular light surface noise through the balance of Side 1 with several light clicks. Similarly on Side 2 there is light crackling on Track 1, possibly slightly more audible than Track 1, Side 1. Clicks and crackles are audible throughout the balance of the side. Somewhat less audible on Track 3, Side 2. Those interested should be aware of the noise described. Audibly checked.
