PLEASE NOTE: 78 RPM RECORDS ARE VERY FRAGILE! THEY MUST BE PACKED AND SHIPPED WITH GREATER CARE THAN LPs OR 45s. I TAKE GREAT CARE IN PACKING AND SHIPPING 78s. THIS RECORD WILL BE SANDWICHED IN CARDBOARD, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP OR AN ALTERNATIVE, AND THEN NESTED IN STYROFOAM PEANUTS, OR SOMETHING SIMILAR, IN A LARGER BOX.
Here’s a classic from “Sheriff” Andy of Mayberry. Back in 1953, he was better known as “Deacon” Andy Griffith. He apparently put his record out first on the Colonial label. Capitol Records spotted a good thing and arranged to also issue it as well as Andy’s future recordings which they apparently continued to do into the 70’s.
This example of the 1953 issue on Capitol contains both parts 1 & 2 of the recording. The disc is a high quality Capitol pressing and is in beautiful VG+ or better condition. It play tested Loud, Clear & Strong. It will be shipped in a generic sleeve but will also come with a nice Capitol sleeve from the era.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!
PAYMENT:
I only accept payment through PayPal, unless you have made other arrangements with me prior to bidding.
Payment should be made promptly on “Buy It Now” items and should be made soon after your receipt of an Invoice following the end of a regular Auction. However, see below if you are buying more than one item.
SHIPPING:
Domestic (USA) bidders: I will combine items purchased within one week for shipping savings. In the event you are bidding on more than one item or plan to do a “Buy It Now” on more than one item, please do not pay for any single item until I have sent you a combined Invoice for all of your purchases. Letting me know the reason for any delay would be appreciated.
Foreign bidders: I’m sorry but eBay’s present “Global Shipping Program" rules do not allow for combined shipping.
