N.B. please read carefully:
1. Delivery from South Africa can sometimes take up to 6 weeks. Your package can take even longer
to reach you if it is delayed in Customs in your country. We will gladly provide proof of postage and
information about when your parcel left South Africa. However, we have no control over delivery times.
Please contact us first if you are concerned about the whereabouts of your parcel.
2. Please do not send payment before you receive an invoice from us!
3. Please note that this item ships from Cape Town, South Africa. Shipping is therefore NOT as stated
by ebay:
**worldwide shipping for this item via Registered Airmail
is GBP 13.50**
4. I grade conservatively. Grading for vinyl is VG- / VG / VG+ / VG++ / NM and sealed.
I do not use “EX”, but my equivalent grade is VG++.
I only offer trashed or unplayable records for auction if they are exceptionally rare.
5. Customers should be aware that funds paid into PayPal can take up to one week to clear through
the South African banking system. Since I am not a business with the money in hand to ship items right away,
I can therefore only post items once I am able to draw PayPal payments as cash on this end from my local bank.
However, goods are shipped immediately once payment has been cleared and withdrawn as cash. Please keep this
in mind when leaving feedback.
Depeche Mode Behind The Wheel rare limited edition yellow German 12”
Cat # Mute – INT 126.876 / Mute – L 12 Bong 15, Germany, 1988
Visually (under bright light): the record has numerous sleeve-removal-type scuff marks,
as well as several light scratches. No feelable scratches. It is difficult to see spindle marks
on these labels, but it’s clear that that the record has been played many times before.
While it is USED, there are no serious or noticeable flaws (e.g. feelable scratches.)
Visually, I would grade the record as Very Good or Very Good Plus.
Audio:
Side One:
Some brief ‘crackle’ at the start of play. Intermittent non-intrusive ‘static’ can be heard
on the odd occasion, but this side still plays well, with the music to the forefront. Brief ‘static’
and ‘crackle’ at the very end of the track. I would grade Side One as VG++ overall, with
imperfections as described above.
Side Two:
Brief surface noise immediately before the start of play. Intermittent non-intrusive ‘static’
can be heard every now and then, but this side also plays well, with the music to the forefront.
One ‘click’ that I noticed about 1/3 of the way into the track. Side Two plays with
a little more wear than Side One, but it is still an enjoyable listen. I would grade Side Two
between Very Good Plus and VG++ overall, with imperfections as described above.
While the record is USED, and is not for the fussy collector, it is still fully playable and
enjoyable. As mentioned, Side Two plays with a little more wear than Side One and grades
between VG+ and VG++. One 'click' that I noticed on Side Two, about 1/3 of the way into
the track. No distortion.
Both sides play right through without ‘sticks’, ‘skips’ or ‘jumps’.
The cover grades as Fair or Good, depending on your criteria. It has noticeable creases in
various places. There are numerous scratches, smudges, markings and fingerprints. There is
a sticker to the rear of the cover. Minor corner wear and ring wear, as well as light wear to
the opening. On the plus side, the lettering on the spine is still perfectly readable, and there
are no seam splits. The cover is still fully functional. It still has the “Platte in farbigen Vinyl”
sticker. Please see photos.
