"BLONDE ON BLONDE" gatefold Columbia Mono double album from 1966, "360 SOUND MONO" in white on the label. This is a very early pressing of the rare mono original gatefold "girl" cover with the Claudia Cardinale picture on the inside. Deadwax machine stamps: 2A, 3H, 4F, 2H. The album cover is VG-: ring wear on the front and back, name written across Bob's face, a lot of spine wear on the bottom with a 1/4" split(see pic), the corners and seams are in pretty good shape. There's a very light, faded red stamp on the top right corner. The vinyl is VG: a lot of light abrasion type lines, and a light scratch on "Visions Of Johanna" that causes a skip and some popping on the first half of the song. Play tested and the rest of the 4 sides have some light surface noise on some quieter passages that don't interfere with the listening experience. There's a very, very light red stamp on the side2 and 4 labels. Plenty of flaws with this album but it's a rare early pressing of one of the best albums of all time (Rolling Stone Mag.). And except for the one skip the rest of the songs play really well. Good deal for the price. Please email me with any questions.
