WAITING FOR GODOT 2 LP Box Set - reissue of the 1956 double LP featuring the cast of the Original Broadway production of Samuel Beckett's absurdist tragic-comedy. It opened at the Golden Theatre on April 19, 1956; starring Bert Lahr as Estragon (Gogo), E.G. Marshall as Vladimir (Didi) and was directed by Herbert Berghof . "Godot" closed after just 10 weeks, but Goddard Lieberson, who produced original-cast albums for Columbia Records, had the brilliant idea to record a complete performance of the play 60 years ago! This Box Set is the 1973 Caedmon TRS 352 reissue, which itself, has been out of print for the past 43 years!
