On offer is a three-LP box set of George Harrison's All Things Must Pass, originally issued in 1970 on Apple. This is the 1976 U.S. re-issue on Capitol STCH-639. Comes with all the original inner sleeves but NOT the poster.
The three records play great, sound generally great -- full and bright. The vinyl has most of its original shine and gloss. There are some hairlines and slight surface marks -- NO scratches. The playback sound is generally excellent with loads of detail and depth. I grade Sides 1 and 2 Excellent based on the Record Collector magazine definition of EXCELLENT as "The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality."
On record 2 there is some light surface noise -- nothing serious -- during the first half of the first track/side 3 Beware of Darkness. And maybe a touch of slight surface noise in one or two other quiet spots. Record 2 grades Near Excellent. The third record, Apple Jam, is practically near mint.
The box has some issues. The lid of the box has two corners that are split. There is wear to corners and edges. Some discoloration and soiling on the cover. Spine is nice. See photos. The inner sleeves are in good shape but two of them have about an inch of split at the middle of the bottom edge.
