BLIND WILLIE McTELL sealed THE EARLY YEARS 1927-1933 180 Gram Yazoo Records LP  

This collection features pre-World War II recordings from Atlanta's star blues master. This disc include's Willie's early recording of his iconic blues classic Statesboro Blues. This early work shows samples of Willie's deft storytelling backed by his notable 12-string guitar backing. His 12-string play differed from other blues guitarists who utilized the instument as rhythmic backing. Mctell applied it to add skilled slide and finger picking.
