Comparatively fantastic copy of this album. I purchased this album in the secondary market having been advertised as near mint vinyl. After listening to the album on a pair of Grado PS1000e’s I would rate the overall quality 93 out of 100. Listening critically there is an occasional surface noise which, tragically, is most present on the intro/title track. This having been said a visual inspection would reveal no damage and sheen is on par with contemporary MOFI releases and the sound is extraordinary. A final note on this is that a warranty card I found from Mofi (for a different album, I attached the picture) indicates an album may need to be played a few times before all surface noises disappear. The cover would fall more into the excellent as opposed to the near mint category however this open to interpretation. Again I purchased this as being near mint (which I would equate with at least a 90 or better) however looking critically at this jacket, despite the age, I would rate this copy a 84 out of 100. Although the vinyl looks factory new the jacket was not stored in a plastic protective sleeve and there is wear in the corner which I attempted to capture. There is a minor split on the seam along the bottom right which I also attempted to capture. What I think hurts the score the most is some wear along the front right cover which is in contrast to the rest of the front cover. Since I purchased the album it has been placed into a protective sleeve.
