Grading structure:
New: unplayed, factory-fresh condition. Near Mint (NM): played but no noticeable signs of having been played. To all intents Mint. Excellent (EX): played, signs of having been played. Sound still near-perfect. VG++, VG+, VG: increasing amounts of surface marks, signs of wear, light scratches, but nothing too serious. VG-, G+: more substantial scratches that will definitely sound, although the record is still listenable. Good (G): lowest grade for a listenable record. Single 45s with this grade will be OK for DJing etc. Fair (F): just about usable, say in a jukebox or other lo-fi system. Poor (P): will sound dreadful, and might not play properly all the way through.
