"The Man Comes Around" was the title track from Cash's 2002 American IV: The Man Comes Around, the fourth & final album in his American label series released in his lifetime. It is the last song Cash wrote before his death. The haunting song makes numerous Biblical references. Backed with his Depeche Mode cover of "Personal Jesus".
