#8869.  I purchased this album as new and it remains sealed.  Within the top right corner is a bump which I attempted to capture. I also noted some nominal wear in the other corners, hardly noticeable unless upon the most close inspection.   There is also a very small mark on the top seam (no split at all yet, above the letter ‘E’ in the word Master.) Finally, there is also residual glue from the price sticker on the rear shrink (top left under the letter ‘O’ in Original.  Numerically I score this cover a 98.

Vinyl is assumed to be mint and is being sold sealed in collector’s condition. The reason for this disclaimer is that, as Bob Pridden said, ‘Machines go wrong.’  On the outlier occasion, a factory sealed piece of vinyl will have an issue, be it surface marks from the press, rub marks from the paper sleeve (unless it’s MOFI) or a pressing defect which produces pops, ticks or clicks.  Personally, I’ve only had 4 outright defects out of more than 2,000 new albums I’ve opened. The aforementioned statement is being coupled to the fact that once an album is opened, even though that is the most probable intention, the value significantly decreases, even if the vinyl is never played.  To be 100% clear, if an album is purchased, opened and found to have a defect it cannot be returned as defective or ‘not matching the description’ because, in fact, the album has been delivered in sealed collector’s condition, as promised.  And as an aside, I absolutely detest having to write this snooty disclaimer, which I’ve resisted as long as I could, but I recently had second case (of 1200 albums sold, check out my feedback which is 100%) of a piece of sealed vinyl with a defect where I was personally held to the standard of the manufacturer and I’m way too much of a nervous wreck to not provide absolute clarity relative to this issue; Sealed albums that are opened cannot be returned for any reason.

Album will be mailed between cardboard in a Whiplash mailer. If you have any other questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
